Caitlin Clark expected to be left off Olympics roster

Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark is expected to be left off the 12-player Team USA women’s basketball roster for the Summer Olympics. The selected roster consists mostly of experienced players, with seven of the 12 having previous Olympic five-on-five experience. Clark’s teammate Aliyah Boston was also not chosen. Clark, who had a remarkable NCAA career, was unable to attend the national team’s final training camp due to her participation in the Final Four. The roster was chosen by the women’s basketball committee and is expected to be a strong contender for the gold medal.
